I had a 328 about 15 years ago -- probably my favorite car I ever had. It depends on what you are looking for in a car -- the new 5's are no where near as fun to drive as they used to be. More luxury -- less sport. It really is a very fun car to drive and handles great. Don't knock it until you drive it....

Actually if I were to pick up a second car to have to "play" with a 3 series would be on the list...
