Wednesday is the first night of a a double elimination tournament for us to determine the season. Win and advance to Charlottesville for the next round. Lose and there's the longer and more unlikely road through the losers bracket. If I recall the last softball tournament I played in this format, the longer you avoid the first loss, the easier the road.

We may catch UNC looking ahead to Duke, which I think is very realistic. I think we can beat UNC at home, but then comes the real challenge... Winning a road game in the ACC especially in Charlottesville where UVA plays great basketball. We've won 2 road games in the ACC this year... We've won 3 overall. We're not good on the road (except Dez Wells).
I have hope... but realistically I just don't think we win the last two in the leaguem which would get us in.

He tweeted that no team with 7 sub-100 losses has ever made the NCAAs and he doesn't see that changing this year either...

I wonder how much weight they'll give those early bad losses? But they still have to go to FSU before playing us and they've actually been as bad as us on the road. Except at Comcast.
