9/21/2010...RIP Old IMS.
His minutes have been down about 10% so he is slightly more productive this year. But he has been much better in the second half of conference play. I liked that he has starting shooting a pull-up floater and that he has been practicing on his jump shot.
You have to wonder how hard he worked on his fundamentals over the summer, or whether he just assumed he would cruise into an all-Acc year. If he works on fixing his jumper (his form is better but he is still unbalanced); works on his handle; works on FTs (also much improved); works on finishing (especially with his left hand, which he never uses); works on a midrange game (he should be deadly driving and pulling up at about 10 feet) from the hoop, and resolves not to force things, he can improve significantly.
I got the shotgun. You got the briefcase. It's all in the game though, right?
