According to vegasinsider it actually opened at -1.5 and -3 is the current consensus although many casinos have not yet posted their line. This seems like free money to me. I know our team just played 3 tough emotional games but Turgeon seems a lot more positive about playing in the NIT than Gary ever was. Anyone know if students can attend for free?
Edited - I guess the guy who made the early lines was on crack.

The 1.5 and 3 were obviously a mistake, not any sort of real line unless you think Uva was only favored by 2.5 vs norfolk and iowa was a pick at home vs indiana st

I wouldn't have touched Kentucky. If anyone is going to just throw a game like MD did in 06, it's them.

So, you lost two out of three. Betting on college basketball is sooo stupid. You should have looked up John Fisher's picks on VegasTopDogs.com and gone with them. He is the best handicapper for college basketball. Not sure he handicaps NIT games, though. I'll ask him this evening when I see him (he's my son).
