Kevin Sheehan on 980 says fire Edsall

Talking about it now. Thinks the financial ramifications mean they should cut there losses. Also said Plank found out Edsal was going t be the HC on New years day with the rest of us.

On a similar note, it's three days since the season ended and Bradford and Johnson still have jobs. What's up with that?

I think there could be a possibility for it next year, but Edsall would probably need to lose at least 8 games and there would have to be enormous pressure on Anderson from the fanbase as well as top boosters. Problem is there are a number of top boosters who stand by Edsall and like him a lot.

a lot of people have repeated the plank thing, but it's been shot down by others. plank was on the search committee, so i highly doubt the credibility of that statement.

How does his ego feel knowing so many prominent journalist are saying he is so bad, it makes financial sense to fire him after one season. Before he can even really implement 'his' system.

It's the types that honestly don't know much about sports and are in it more for the financial/status aspect of it. They also value the "student-athlete off the field" stuff and buy into people sucking up to them.

Yeah right. Sheehan has no idea what he is talking about. Plank knew damn well they were going to hire Edsall. In fact, was it not Plank's plane Loh and Anderson jumped on immediately after the Leach interview to go to Arizona?

I'm not aware of a single top booster that loves Edsall. I don't know all of them so I concede some may, but if there are top boosters that support him it isn't many.

I know of two.....one of them (he has donated a butt load of money) is full on drinking the kool-aid. I've given him an earful and he isn't budging.
