I recall several years ago just before Jimmy got the Loyola gig, there was a rucus going on in the ACC where someone supposedly annonomously turned in a rival school's coach for recruiting violation(s). This dipshit (I'm being very generous here) writer, Doug Douty, from the Roanoke Times wrote a column suggesting that the snitch was most likely Jimmy Patsos. This created quite a stir down on tobacco road and when Douty was pressed for his evidence/source on his radio call-in show he finally admitted he had none. He just always thought JP looked like "sort of a sleezy character" when he saw him on the Maryland sidelines. Hey, I told you I was being generous.
