Still two to go before we can say we avoided any bad losses. We were still trailing Albany midway through the 2nd half. Cornell is better than anyone mid-major we've played (except Iona). Having said that, if Turgeon gets to ACC play without a bad loss, it will be a fantastic coaching job.

I don't know enough about Cornell to really comment and certainly we have yet to really put away ANY team we've played, but is Cornell really that good? I know they played UPS and Illinois close on the road, but they are only 4-7 (with 2 OT victories against Albany and Lehigh) and have losses to St. Bonaventure, Delaware, Buffalo, American and Stony Brook.

Again, I still think the game will probably end up being close because they have all been that way.

Sidenote: Looking at Cornell's roster on espn.com- do they really have 21 players?

Yes. And we have come close to losing every game where I've said that. I'm not going to say we're definitely going to win just to go along with the crowd. I'm much more optimistic with Len and Howard, though. But, as we saw last night, we're still capable of stretches where we let lesser teams hang around.

The ACC sucks, they have the conference's leading scorer, a future lottery pick big and a senior wing player. Why not?
