I know a PG is what MT is really looking for, but this guy could be a nice piece if we have some attrition.

I saw yesterday that UCLA's Brendan Lane will be going this route. He mentioned finding a West Coast midmajor where he could get playing time. He's not really a need for us, but I found the whole concept and seeing how it trends over the landscape interesting. A major concern (among others) some coaches have voiced was that the major schools would poach the non-majors, but that hasn't seemed overwhelming the case. This season there were 15 players playing under this rule (3 still getting minutes for tournament teams left). So far Swopshire and Lane are the only ones I've heard for next season:
