I'm certainly not qualified to comment, but anyone care to share anything they notice of Danny's throwing mechanics. Has something changed in this respect because his accuracy is off on most throws (overthrown, low, behind)?
It may be mostly on Danny, or the system, but at times things have clicked. What is consistent is the constant betrayal the receivers have done to both Danny and CJ. Especially Tyler! If he catches that ball against Clemson, we win the game. It's quite odd too since Tyler use to catch anything thrown his way, with one hand, falling backwards, etc. Now balls that hit him in the hands are ending up on the ground. I wouldn't be surprised if Danny doubts his receivers now.
Sometimes you have to be careful what you wish for.
Sucks for DOB.
DOB has not played well. The things cited so far are all true...he doesn't run when he should out of passing situations. Until recently has been reluctant to pull the ball in read situations on run plays. This hads hurt the offense and especially the running game hugely.
Also his mechanics are awful. Over striding = throwing against his body. First noticed vs. Miami Also he is double clutching/starring down receivers and then throwing to them anyway.
Both QB's have thrown picks in high risk...extremely low reward situations...i.e. potential for 5 yard completions vs. pick or pick 6. SMH. I don't understand this behavior.
I can't even begin to explain the receivers. I've never seen so many incompletions where it is so apparent that the WR and QB had a choice and just weren't on the same page. When they actually are on the same page, were are 50/50 catching the ball.
Davin has been good running the ball, but I don't understand playing Pickett over Adaams. Must be personal.
Very frustrating to watch. Getting to unwatchable and just embarrassing levels.

After 1 year DOB was in position to shatter every career passing record in the books. That might have caused him to press a little too hard this year...resulting in a fragile chemistry between himself, the coaches, and his teammates. He definitely took it like a man when he was benched, but the looks he was giving the sidelines all day on Saturday lead me to believe he's getting pretty fed up with what he has to work with.
IMO the downfall of the entire season hinged on the suspension of Tyler and Mcree. Our offense was a machine vs. Miami and was just 1 competent receiver short of being the same vs West Virginia. We would have been ranked (or on the verge of) vs Temple and the team's confidence would have been sky high. Who knows if we could have won that game but surely we would have scored a lot more points if we had a cohesive offense through those first 3 games.
