How long before this thread gets locked?
Turgeon is probably concerned because Shaq is transferring.
How does this crap ass radio show not have a podcast? Since he left yahoo for cbs..nada.......
Oh the premise that he's going to quit to be Roy's assistant is 100% hilarious bullshit, I agree.
Just saying that immediately refuting it is stupid. You all did the same thing with the Big Ten talk.
The part about Tim Brando having sources is pretty great also
Charmcity told me that John Harbaugh was running everyone out, but I didn't think his reach extended this far.
"And I try to har-mo-nize with songs the lonesome sparrow sings...
There are no kings inside the Gates of Eden."
You're not ready for this board yet, we're gonna have to send you back down to TT.
Man looking at the original Big Ten stuff is hilarious. Check out the responses when everything first started leaking out (spoiler: move was not as popular then):
bmore sun forums caliber?
Also lol at wanting to be in the bog 12 or acc. I'm sure he doesn't want to roll to the beat conference. I mean the acc is about to be on par with the a10. Lol at the big 12 period. Maybe we can all suck off the unicorn and join the big east catholic mess
If you search for Brando on twitter, nothing comes up relating to Turgeon. You'd figure someone would have tweeted about it.
You can't immediately refute this because we were wrong before? Brb gonna start a "Harrisons re-considering Maryland?" thread.
If he went there as a head coach in waiting and got compensated well...it might not be all that far fetched. Still doubt it, and if he did say all that it is probably trying to get more leverage not really leave.
This is what people with "sources" do. Turge was unhappy at first. He may have said to some donor that he was considering his options (like a raise, capital improvements, etc.). Then that guy tells a buddy that Turge is considering his options, and consider maybe he wants to leave since he hasn't gotten every recruit so far and you know, Vic Oladipo is good but who from here would want to go to play in the Midwest? Perfectly reasonable, right? And then all this crap gets turned from speculation into a "scoop" when somebody spills it to a media type.
So the thing that was truthful, that Turge was originally not pleased about the move, is 10% of the "scoop," because the "scoop" is like 5th hand info.
Starting with you but funny nonetheless.
Joining the Big Ten after the ACC raided the Big East and snagged Notre Dame would be the most Kevin Anderson move of all time
I just want to point out that Hogie hated Shaka in 2011.
Seriously, the entire premise is ridiculous. Why would he care about moving to a conference that will annually fight for best conference? I'm sure he'd rather be an assistant and take a massive paycut after signing an eight year deal though! Who fed Brando this shovelful?
I got the shotgun. You got the briefcase. It's all in the game though, right?
