I'm just glad Dez and Alex got a year together.
This team can get good by March.
I hope one of them is still around next Fall...
I like Dez but I just don't see him as an early entry guy. Obviously praying for Len to come back but there is no way at this point.
Hey Ellicott we know Alex is going to be gone but are you hearing things about Dez or do you just think he could have the kind of year that will make it wise for him to declare as well?
Well my week is ruined. Thanks!
I'm gonna be the anti-Hogie and say I hope Dez is 2 inches shorter than his listed height.
I get the love for Dezmine. He is talented; however I'm not yet seeing pro skills. I'd be shocked if he could play in the lig next year. Alex on the other hand likely has the skills to make a roster in the lig next year and possibly be a high draft pick.
Len is gone.
Top 3 picks tend to make NBA teams, yes
We should just be the annual 4/5 seed that makes the Final Four this year. May as well win it once we get there.
I got the shotgun. You got the briefcase. It's all in the game though, right?
I think Dez is a three year guy too but am I crazy for seeing a Dwyane Wade skill set with this guy?
HEAR ME OUT
I'm not saying he will be as good (obviously) but Dez is a guy who has an incredibly quick first step to get to the basket, decent outside shooter but lethal at getting to the basket and a pretty good mid range game when he's on. More than anything he's a tweener who shows both 2 guard and point guard instincts with great passing. I mean it's pretty clear I think Dez is a special talent, I can't be the only one who thinks this. Right? If I am I'll shut up now.
That one on three flip shot he had tonight was straight out of DWade's arsenal.
I think a smaller Ron Artest is a better comp
Wells is a strange mixture of a bullish player with a lot of skill, but I think his weakness is his handle + ability to beat his man off the dribble. He's definitely great in transition and going straight at the basket off the bounce. Wade was a freak of nature with his explosiveness and length, I just don't think it's fair to compare them at all, just imo.
I'd go with Fred Jones
Len is gone as gone can be. I think we'll get a junior Wells at the very least and maybe a senior Wells, as well.

Yes, Our fans get excited when our team and players have great games.
I loved Dez out there tonight. He's in attack mode but under control. 6 games in you can see that he's low maintenance and plays both ends. Tonight though, in a road environment, he was very vocal. He laid into Aronhalt for some lazy D when he first entered the game. He was shoving Padgett out to the top of the key when he lost his man on D. Just some really good floor leadership we really need.
Len's skill set speaks for itself. He's closer to pick 1 than he is to 14. Just hope we stay healthy and continue to grow.
