I can't believe that smfh can't give a guy a min who worked his ass off for 4 years in a blowout. On scholarship at that smh
come on, couldn't find a few mins in BOTH halves for him against fcukin niagra. ? in an NIT game?. oh and thank god turge at least knew not to humiliate him with the scrubs.
also, are people really taking the NIT this seriously too?
Oh noes! Dino is mad about it! I better pop some NyQuil so I can sleep tonight.

Brown ran kids he's never met, and will run 3 frosh this year. Its embarrassing, but that's the price of tea to get a top 25 roster. He'd play a senior that contributes during his last postseason, guaranteed
not sure what "he wasnt needed" has to do with anything....noone is saying he should have played much in first half..., as Neal said, there was a chance to get him in before scrub time but after the game was decided.....it was complete garbage that he wasnt put in....he could have/should have gotten some run for a bit imo. I mean, I cant stand him, but this was a joke.
Couldn't disagree more. Very understandable to me.
So does anyone's opinion change now that we have a direct quote? Turge was going to do what people just suggested, and Padge said no. Hard to slam anyone there, right?
Cue: "He should have played him before that."
You tell people to go in as a coach. IF you ask w/10 to go, to a contributing kid, you already know you embarrassed him. Thats Padge saying FU, after Turge said FU w/no minutes
It was a tie game at half, the game was fully in tact.
And while some internet posters don't think this tourney is that serious, I am 100% positive that Turge REALLY wants to win this tourney. He's telling boosters the main reason for playing in the weaker competition St. Thomas tournament next year is to get these kids a taste of "hoisting a trophy." I'm sure he feels the same about a postseason tournament.
I AM OUTRAGED.
I guess I just don't think it's a big deal. Just a reason for people who want to bash Turge to bash Turge. Padge came through for us a big a couple times this year, but he's lucky he stayed in a the rotation for as long as he did.

If Padge just said no, then Idk what's behind that. Maybe his motivation is letting others get run. Maybe it's total apathy (probably not since he cheered on teammates). Maybe it's a passive-aggressive eff you back.
Why isn't he playing meaningful minutes against Niagara? Next year prep blah blah blah. I'm all for that. But c'mon the two aren't mutually exclusive. You can give him run against shitty Niagara, let him finish some easy ones in transition and feel good about the end of his career.
Is there more to this?
Hopefully he gets a little time to shine in the next game(s).
not sure what I am more pissed about.
1. our coach ASKING a player if he wanted to go in.
2. the player saying no.
jesus. what a disgrace.
