The kid really stepped up since Pe'Shon went down, and showed that, while he still isn't the greatest ballhandler, he has a great feel for the game. Also liked the fact that he started taking the ball to the hoop more. Hopefully with a healthy Pe' and more talent around, he can slash a lot more next year. Needs to hit the weight room, work on his outside shooting and FT shooting (though both of those got better over the season), so that he can be a force to be reckoned with.
"The drummer for Maryland's pep band just freaked out: 'They're trying to slow the game down,' he screamed. 'Get up on them, get up on them.
Feel for the game, is one of the biggest deficiencies of this season. A coach can't handhold a team each time up and down the floor and we saw a lot of it this season. There were uncontrollable hurdles to be sure, but not every in-game scramble and shot clock scenario can be scripted. As much as talent influx, I hope that the fresh blood can add to the team's court IQ and awareness. We benefitted from that a lot in the 07' season (although the effect was magnified given it came at the point spot).
Edit: Oh and +1, I love Faust.
