I felt like I should have issued an amber alert for myself, just in case
In OOC games MD averaged 22 foul shots and opponents 13.
In 8 ACC games MD has averaged 16 foul shots and opponents 19,
For a net swing of 12. Still 31 foul shots for FSU is way out of normal range.
But that's NOT something we just learned watching the last game.
Also stats dont reflect strategic, momentum breaking fouls, etc.
there's no way we can leave for the BIG 10 next year right?
It's not even really just a comparison of foul shots attempted. It has at least as much to do with the non-calls that either extend the opponent's possession, or give them points. Dook's hand-checking is legendary against us. FSU looked like an NBA team with all their traveling (mostly not called - especially in the first game). That said, we have truly sucked and choked in some league games this year, and we sure as hell don't need the zebras to add unnecessarily to our woes.

I wish an organization had two people watch every game and count how many bad calls there were each game. With non-biased observers recording the bad calls it could uncover some clear patterns of bias.
I honestly believe that K teaches his kids to hand check because he knows it won't get called. Then when they can't hand check they get blown off the court.
