One thing no one has commented on are the game start time shift if MD joins the Big 10. Right now, most of MD games are on early 7-8 pm. But if we shift to the Big 10, my guess is the predominant game start time will shift to 8-9 pm or later. I get up early every morning (4:45 am) so that will impact me more than most. I have not missed a single televised (include ESPN3 games) in almost 10 years. That will change if they move the start time of the average game to 9 pm or later!! I may have to start rooting for Duke (just kidding) just so I can watch BB games.
Tar Heel: Maryland term for stepping in Duke
Duke: Maryland term for dog s@#$
Jesus Christ pops, Worried the dentures won't have enough time to soak overnight?
Sack up vag man
An extra hour isn't going to kill you. I'm up about 30 minutes after you are, and this thought never crossed my mind, nor does it bother me now that you've brought it up.
Sleep when you're dead. Maryland games are more important than your silly sleep schedule.
Of our 8 weekday conference games this year, 3 of them are at 9pm and 3 are at 8pm.
Also, when has a mid-week MD/Duke game NOT been at 9pm?
"The drummer for Maryland's pep band just freaked out: 'They're trying to slow the game down,' he screamed. 'Get up on them, get up on them.
So we may actually get the fans in their seats before tipoff? The real impact on start times is football...get ready for Noon kickoffs every week.
At least our football games will start at noon. In the central time zone those 11am starts are the worst. And truthfully they spread the games out on the BTN. So if you are not playing on one of the espn's you are just as likely to have a BTN game at noon, 3:30, or 8 pm. I don't think Wisconsin has a bball game later than 8pm ct this year except when they are in Vegas
