Per NIT policy, Maryland had an open locker room after its 86-70 win over Niagara on Tuesday. (Reporters rejoice!!!) Anyway, here a few fun tidbits I figured you guys would enjoy ...
>> Maryland has an NIT bracket on the wall in the locker room. There's a catch, though. The entire board, except for Maryland's matchup vs. Niagara, has been covered up with paper. It's an interesting coaching tactic that has the Terps' players focused on the task at hand and not looking ahead to Madison Square Garden.
>> After interviews wrapped up, there were roughly 10 seconds left in the Robert Morris-Kentucky game. Reporters and players stood idly by, watching the end of the action. Charles Mitchell kept slapping Logan Aronhalt on the shoulder breaking down the action.
"He's not gonna make this." -- Robert Morris' next to last free throw.
"Oh, Archie [Goodwin], this is gonna be game!" -- Kentucky's last possession.
"He missed it! Season over for Kentucky!" -- final missed shot by the Wildcats.
Dez Wells was also deeply interested in watching the game and more than once had reporters repeat their questions while catching a glance at the big-screen T.V. bolted to the wall.
>> Maryland staff members brought in Chipotle after the game. Shaq Cleare eagerly awaited his and sought out the postgame meal, eschewing interviews. (But, to be honest, his small crowd of scribes had already dissipated.)
>> James Padgett screamed "Fuck you, Turgeon" and gave him a Rock Bottom before leaving the locker room and high fiving Dino Gregory.
No. I'll have more on this in a bit. Hold your horses.

Film Description: Steven Spielberg's phenomenally successful sci-fi adventure thriller is graced by state-of-the-art special effects from the team of Stan Winston, Phil Tippett and Michael Lantieri from George Lucas's Industrial Light & Magic. The film follows two dinosaur experts -- Dr. Alan Grant (Sam Neill) and Dr. Ellie Sattler Laura Dern) -- as they are invited by eccentric millionaire John Hammond (Richard Attenborough) to preview his new amusement park on an island off Costa Rica. By cloning DNA harvested from pre-historic insects, Hammond has been able to create living dinosaurs for his new Jurassic Park, an immense animal preserve housing real brachiosaurs, dilophosaurs, triceratops, velociraptors, and a Tyrannosaur Rex. Accompanied by cynical scientist Ian Malcolm (Jeff Goldblum), who is obsessed with chaos theory, and Hammond's two grandchildren (Ariana Richards and Joseph Mazzello), they are sent on a tour through Hammond's new resort in computer controlled touring cars. But as a tropical storm hits the island, knocking out the power supply, and an unscrupulous employee (Wayne Knight) sabotages the system so that he can smuggle dinosaur embryos out of the park, the dinosaurs start to rage out of control. Grant then has to bring Hammond's grandchildren back to safety as the group is pursued by the gigantic man-eating beasts.

If you're so smart, why aren't you rich?
now i want us to keep going in the NIT, if only for more threads like this
At least you have a Chipotle by you.
Wow. This is NOT roomy!
Oh is Dat not a fan of Turgeon? He was a pretty big supporter initially. I try not to read his posts anymore as I tire of all the SMU garbage.
What kind of cups were the sodas served in? I need to know what sort of people are operating within the basketball program.
Not a jack ass. I am a 4 star poster on RCMB - spartanfan48413

Sorry Coastal. Wasn't trying to troll you. My post needed closure, and the only closure was a chicken burrito bowl.

I like Turgeon just fine, just some micro issues, no biggie. Sorry about the smu stuff, but it's pretty fun down there about now, and too many people around here are sports entitled and have no idea how the other half lives
