I still think he's fixable. He didn't play well today but sans the TO's I think we get more open shots when he runs point than anyone else other than Wells. The problem with him today was that he had his worst game in a while defensively. Nick has the potential to be and should be molded into a Raja Bell type player as he has very siimilar skill set and physcial attributes. It's his best shot at the league and the best situation for the Terps.
Faust's career shooting percentage 51 games into his career is 36.9%. That's absolutely staggering.
Faust needs to concentrate on driving to the basket and either dishing or finishing, and playing defense. He shoots way too many 3s and thinks that if he's open he has to shoot. Wells has the same problem when he's open. Wells is a really poor 3-point shooter. There's a reason these guys find themselves open a lot. Faust is athletic as hell and doesn't take advantage of it. His bball IQ is not great.
Agree. He has valuable attributes, but needs to play more to his strengths.
