Goodman giving subway advice is like Rangoon on PR
The 2/3 runs right to Atlantic Avenue and a block away from the arena. I'm sure the A/C goes to Brooklyn but i'm not sure that close to the arena.
FYI for you guys still looking for tickets. My crew did group sales and got 20 lower bowl tickets for $35 each. Ticketmaster is $45 plus $9 fee for the same seats. I think you could do group sales for as few as 10 seats too. Definitely something to consider, I'm sure you could easily find some groups on this board to reach the 10 people. Lets get as much red as possible in that place.
In + 7 Terps in the Upper Bowl.
I was told (by who, I don't know) that the TC will be holding a pretty big Happy Hour prior to the game. Additionally, I was told there would be a Gamewatch for the Clemson game the next day too.
As suggested by Neal, staying in Manhattan at some Pod Hotel for those looking for a really cheap place ($200/person for two nights).

"It's just so hard," Greivis said. "It's my heart, my love. Maryland made me who I am."
all this is true except we play Clemson in football
Agreed. Also agree re: staying in Manhattan. I say that as someone who lives in Brooklyn.
I'm in for 2 if this group rate is available. Is this through the TC? Lol at the stubhub prices.
Apologize. Thanks for the correction.
Nope, just through the Barclay's Center group sales. We first contacted them months ago and didn't get a firm confirmation until August but I assume their group sales are up and running a lot better by now.
I wann buy tickets through the TC. Can I do that
FYI: I booked at the Fairfield Inn & Suites which is like 5 blocks away (stumbling distance) from Barclays. Got it for $240 a night w/ AAA discount.
Find local businesses, view maps and get driving directions in Google Maps
Wheres the best place to stash UK fans bodies?
I see Oconnors & Black Sheep Pub close by.
Can we coordinate to go to one of those places?
I'm basically incapable of going anywhere except the 5 stops on the B to 48th every day.
Just tell me when and where everyone is meeting to march against the KY contingent and I'll be there.
If you're so smart, why aren't you rich?
Justin Bieber is gonna be at the Verizon Center....
I'll be at the team hotel Thurs and Fri night +3 terps. Dinner in Manhattan Thursday night and going wherever the pregame happy hour is on Friday.
Like RHTBG said, I'm staying at one of the Pod hotels in Manhattan. aschafe and I stayed (separately) in The Jane for Coaches vs. Cancer two years ago and I'd give that my seal of approval also if you're looking for a comparatively cheap option.
Definitely looking forward to having beers with some of you, awkwardly explaining to my real life friends how I know you, and trolling Kentucky fans.
Isn't Peter Luger Steakhouse right next to Barclays?
I always figure it's easier telling them about this board than had we met on an S&M forum.
Yeah, our group is going there for dinner before the game. Can't. Wait.
Cash only right?
