It's basically two months away. I'm about to buy my Amtrak tix ($100 round trip) and want to book my hotel. My friend that's coming along has reward points through Marriott. Should we stay at the Brooklyn Bridge Marriott or one in the city?
What's the team hotel? Any fan meetups at bars or anything?

Is stubhub the way to go for tickets? Aren't TC seats being put on sale soon?
Good thread. I do remember Bklyn saying that Keegs would be a good person to ask about the area. I'm definitely down for some kind of board meet up at a bar before the game.
I'm staying at the Sleep Inn on 22nd. Am I going to be murdered? Where can I drink PBR with Keegs?

"I like fixing broken things" - Kevin Plank
I stayed at the brooklyn bridge marriot last new years. How close is it to Barclays? anything nice closer?
It's my understanding that there is a Buffalo Wild Wings across the street from the Barclays Center.
I think there is a Holiday Inn a couple blocks away. How was the brooklyn bridge marriott?
Barclays is on the corner of Flatbush and Atlantic ave, the BB Marriott is 7-10 blocks away.

I'm older than most of you fucks, and I am trying to decide weather I want to stay in Manhattan at some place swank, like The Plaza, or should I stay in Brooklyn. They have a W, and an aLoft, both Starwood digs, which I like. I have never stayed in Brooklyn before so I am kind of apprehensive. Really don't know what to do. I would like to make it nice for Mrs3mr as well.

team hotel is Brooklyn Bridge Marriott. Unless you are just coming up for the game and heading back (i.e. staying one night) I see no reason why you would stay there vs. Manhattan.
There will be a TC happy hour before the game, I will post the location when we figure it all out. I plan on having a beer, or two or three with many of you
We are making a weekend of it, flying in on Thursday evening, and back home on Sunday morning. Probably best to stay in Manhattan.
My dad and I are coming up. Who wants to hang with BEADS?
Everyone but toogs is welcome at my place
As GoTerpSS said, Brooklyn Bridge Marriott is the place. However, if you are on a budget but don't want to drive all the way back home, you can find cheaper rates right across the river in New Jersey... after all it is just a bed.
I look forward to this one, got my reservation and tickets... ready to go!
can't wait to hit up all the craft beer joints in Williamsburg with the mustache & forearm tattoo set. (i'm serious)
Where should I buy tickets?
So how do I get from Penn Station to Brooklyn?
I got the shotgun. You got the briefcase. It's all in the game though, right?
You can take the C train all the way there
Who are we playing in this game?
"And I try to har-mo-nize with songs the lonesome sparrow sings...
There are no kings inside the Gates of Eden."
To the Barclay Center or somewhere else? The 2/3 goes from Penn to Barclay.
