I'll say this. Two years ago, I was so angry at the team and the lack of heart shown that I was glad they didn't get the NIT, cause I would've wanted them to lose. Now, I hope they take this fire into NIT and win the whole thing, cause they deserve SOMETHING.

This. Those kids were spent today, but they competed. I think the NIT and being in it to win it would suit me just fine this year.

I am also proud of the real effort and the fact these guys did not quit. That we were in the hunt at the end against a team which is better then we are, on what was basically their home court, and with two turds for refs, says something about how this team has grown up in the past 7 games. Had be held a 17 point lead against UVa there, we would be going to the NCAA's not them (opinion).

The finish to this year bodes well for next year. I hope they get deep in their next gig so this team can futher its maturity, and its experience, and prep for next season when the ACC can just kiss our asses goodbye...!
