This has been fodder for years in State College. What makes it even worse is it is rumoured people knew about it or at least had suspicions and did nothing.

The charging paperwork has not yet made it to the District Magistrate Judge's office in Centre County. However, felony charges of involuntary deviate sexual intercourse of someone under 16, aggravated indecent assault, indecent assault of someone under 16, indecent assault of someone under 13, and corruption of minors charges have been filed in the state court docket system.

man, that brings back bad memories. We really should have won that game. the holder drop at the 10 yard line was almost as big as the fumble itself. Not sure how the season would have went had we won...maybe we still don't have a shot at Mich and maybe Miami still beats. but it makes you wonder.

Paterno will probably walk away from this fine. It sounds like he reported it to the AD as soon as he found out. Probably had a moral (legal?) obligation to go the authorities but I doubt the media will take him to task for it.
