I really don't see a scenario in which Harper is playing every day OF until late season call-ups in September unless he just absolutely destroys AA/AAA to start the season and they're not getting production from an OF spot.

Love to, and you can make a legit case that Werth is a better fit in Fenway, and Crawford in DC. But given age, I think Boston stands pat and hopes Crawford improves a ton next yr.

Well, we don't absolutely NEED to add a front line starter like we've needed to in past years, but someone like Wilson would me amazing as a lefty to slot between Strasburg and Zimmermann instead of a turd like Lannan.

4) nuDetwiler
5) Wang

I'm so down with going after Span again. He's sooo cheap and that would allow us to go after a legit ass #3 pitcher in free agency. Yeah, we could take a run at BJ Upton but that doesn't solve our leadoff issues

I agree with Hogie 100%.
Trade for Span and try very hard for a third starter.
If you can't get a third starter in 2012, go hard for Greinke in 2013. (who pitches today BTW).

I was thinking about the Nationals rotation for the playoffs next year. We won't play the Phillies so we have a good shot at advancing to the next round. I'm thinking:
1. Lannan
2. JZ
3. Milone
4. Wang
Bullpen:
Kimball
Mattheus
Burnett
Gorzelanny
Peacock
Clippard
Strasburg
Storen
It's up to the Lineup if the Nats want to win it all. Mike Rizzo has to step his game up in December for this to happen.
