I am watching it on the free preview of extra innings on tv.
However, I did not have that player that firstrowsports wanted. I'm not sure if that player was mac compatible when I was going to download it.

He was fine, had a hit and made a couple of nice defensive plays.
Unfortunately our offense is in mid-season form, put a big fat goose egg today.

Go ahead and pick the already mentally frail player and give him the added pressure of hitting leadoff.
Said it before and I'll say it again: trading Nyjer was fucking stupid. I don't care if you didn't like his "attitude." Honestly, this team needs it. You don't trade your only pure leadoff hitter and expect Ian F Desmond to be able to adjust his approach a week before the season. Stupid move.

I was thinking the exact same thing, particularly since Desmond seemed to really settle in the 2 slot last year. Why the hell not?
Really, the lineup at this point is just re-arranging deck chairs ... The pitching stinks, until that's sorted, it wouldn't matter if I batted 2nd.

Morgan was a terrible lead off. His OBP was way too low. On the rare times he got on base, he'd get picked off. He's also a liability in the field, because he often misjudged fly balls and he has no arm. Add his volatile personality and that just made him more trouble than he's worth.
He was awesome when he first came over, but he fell off a cliff and his personality dissolved. I really think management got tired of watching their players getting drilled by pitchers because of Nyjer. His time was done here.
But they need another solution at CF and Lead-off. Ankiel is obviously not the long term answer and Desmond is not a lead off hitter.

Taking Desmond out of the leadoff spot would go a long way towards pretending we're making progress.
