I am trying to think: how many players can you come up with who shot about at Wall's level but turned themselves into substantially better shooters? If he could shoot reasonably well he'd obviously be infinitely better.

LeBron was terrible as a shooter when he came in and now he is one of the better shooters in the league. Ty Lawson used to suck as a shooter, but he is pretty good now. It can happen with a lot of hard work.
