IMO they're taking away from the story by using a shock headline like that.

The bizarre-demographic angle worked for Jeremy Lin -- for a while, at least.

He's definitely not nearly the specimen LeBron was. But man, he's skilled for a guy his size.
May not be the next LeBron or Durant, but he'll be a high-level all-star from what I saw.

Two questions about him. Can he make his Free Throws when it counts, and is his Mormon faith so important to him that he goes off to do his mission stint?

Steve Young is/was a pretty famous Mormon, and I don't think he did the missionary deal. fwiw.
