I always root for Spain in the international events since I was born there and they're an underdog but no way they are 2nd in the world in sports. Pretty good for a smaller country even though the best athletes are from Catalonia which is pretty much a different country itself.

I'm totally with Chil on this one. Spain just focuses on awesome sports instead of pussy Olympic things like the Chinese. They also have Fernando Alonso, dominant Formula 1 driver.
