Honestly, I think Patrick Ramsey could have been a pretty good QB in the NFL. He got totally destroyed by the beating he took in Spurrier's system. I remember the start of the 03 season when he played really tough and won us some games (and took the Giants to OT with a late TD drive) before the beatdown killed his body and confidence.

omg who remembers the year when Bruce was trying to get the sack record? He was 1 away for like 3 games and just went flying up field on a banana pass rush on like every single play. Teams were running under him and QB's were just stepping up and getting outside him like 15 times a game.

Didn't he once call upstairs during a game because he wasn't credited with half a sack? Maybe I'm not remembering it right, but he was definitely bitching about it.

I know once he got it he said "now we can go back to focusing on winning".
I still strongly believe that Bruce Smith is one of the main reasons Spurrier failed here, leading a player revolt. I hate him so much for being such a pain in the ass.
