Ravens vs Chargers Game Thread

  • LOL Ray Lewis is not the problem. He played ok last night. He missed some tackles and looked a little rusty but was hardly the reason we lost. He isn't the Ray of 2000 anymore, and that's ok. He doesn't have to be that good. He looks slower and older and doesn't tackle as well, but he is still really good.

  • The moment Ray Lewis is a liability I'm sure he will volunteer to take a step back or even retire. It's incredible to me that even though he is clearly past his prime that he is still playing at such a high level.

  • I don't understand a world where Ray Lewis isn't the mlb for the Bmore Ravens.

FWIW, Lewis was playing at a top 5 level for MLB/ILB before the injury. He's more than earned the right to play himself back in to game shape the rest of December.

Anyway, re: Cincy, the Jets control their own destiny. If they win out they're in.

Just read some convoluted thing on Cincy website, if both win out it comes down to strength of victory, and the next two weeks will determine that. Just need to hope good Eli shows up this week.

    Tiebrekers for wild card.

  • ESPN might need to fix their playoff machine thing then. I'm pretty sure I plugged in both winning out and NY beat out the Jets.
