2 out of 3 this weekend plus 1 win in Tampa would eliminate the Rays (at least from catching the O's). Angels would need 6-1 to tie, 7-0 to take the WC. So I think 3-3 probably gets it done, 4-2 if you want to feel safe.

Can we now talk about how valuable Davis is to this team? He is approaching 30 bombs on the season with a decent average. It's not bad to have a young guy on the club who can hit 30 bombs a year and is athletic enough to play the corner outfield and infield spots and pitch in an emergency. Love that guy. Extremely valuable.

So is weather going to be a factor this weekend or not? Just glancing at the 5-day forecast on weather.com, they are only calling for "few showers" Friday and Sunday, and partly cloudly on Saturday. No more than a 30% chance of rain any of the days.
But I know I've heard people talking about the possibility of rain this weekend. Where are the charmcitys?
