He's been absolutely unreal lately. I am glad he is outperforming expectations. That's the type if thing you need to do things like make the playoffs; get more out of players than seemed possible especially when a guy like markakis is out

That all came from one person. But we don't need to rehash that. He's been awesome and is living up to expectations. Best of all is that he should just be entering his prime.

I don't post in the O's threads much and I am one of the Skins/O's fans on this board . I am so used to feeling like an abused spouse, I am still kind of in shock right now and don't know how to feel. It is like I am still waiting for something bad to happen b/c that is all that has happened in the past 15 years. It is like being held hostage and someone opens that door for me to escape but I just stand there unable to move.

Assuming Tillman pitches Wednesday, who starts the playoff against the Yanks on Thursday? Britton? Johnson? Saunders on 3 days? Hammel?

Good thing, is that other than Davis, nobody in the lineup is really exceeding expectations and having a career year.

Yes, Strop is on the post-season roster. He needs to get into the game tonight and shut down some right-handers.

Some might say Jones, but with his age and past progression I think we expected these #s. Same with Wieters (expected more really).

I don't think I'd even say that (about Markakis). He was just finally returning to a level that we hadn't seen in a few years. We'd seen it before from him.

And yeah- Strop is definitely on the post-season roster.

Guys on 3 days rest this late in the season make me nervous. I wonder if they'd consider something like Hunter for 3, Saunders for 3, then turn it over to the back end of the bullpen. (Obviously dependent on if Hunter is used out of the pen this week).
