Orioles at Rays series thread

I just don't know how either team has the right to complain about a one and done play in game.

In a way, they don't. Especially since the winner gets to host the first two games of the ALDS with NYY. That said, I can see the side of the argument that wants a 3 or 5 game series. But as I mentioned in an earlier post, I don't think the O's would fare too well against Texas in a longer series.

Someone please explain to me why we just don't pitch our bullpen the entire game in Texas. You get a day off between the wild card and start of the divisional series, so you wouldn't even be in danger of losing those relievers for that next game unless you threw one of them for 3 innings or more.

Hunter for 3. Ayala for 2. O' Day for 2. Johnson for 2.

That's 9 innings right there. To cut down on some of the workload, bring in Patton and Matusz for a few batters, and Arrieta and Bundy could face a batter or two as well. This is by far our best chance to win the game.

Saunders' numbers in Texas are abysmal.

First of all, you sure as hell don't want Hunter going out there. That's suicide. Second, you half to rely on your starters, but you implement a very, very short leash.
