Sixth pick it is. Damn it.

Browns only down 4. We can still hope.

  • Officially 6th. I think we need to trade up to No. 3 for RGIII.

You are right. No way the Browns pass on RG. Ugh.

  • Rams fire their coach and GM.

Sam Bradford hasn't been inspirational through 2 years. Any chance they take RG3?

  • I think Minnesota's third pick is where the action will be for a trade.

The Rams are good at 2. They can get an absolutely dominant left tackle in Kalil or they can give Bradford an elite receiver that they desperately need to bolster a really bad receiving unit in Blackmon. And people know they aren't taking a quarterback anyway, so I doubt anyone bites.

Ponder wasn't very good for Minny, but they did just take him 16th last year. I think they have so many other needs that they would gladly trade down a couple picks to acquire more.

According to the value chart, for us to move up to 3, our first, second and fourth rounder is more than fair value to do so. We should do that in a heartbeat. However, knowing how badly we need a QB, Minny might try to jack up that price and squeeze a third rounder from us. And I would absolutely do that if we had to. We are so desperate, I would consider a first and second to guarantee RGIII. We need him so badly.

The real X factor, like we have been saying here, is the Browns. They are a wild card and they could go a number of ways. If they fall in love with RGIII and decide to start fresh with a QB, we are more or less fucked. If the Browns are determined to get him, they could always just say fuck it and give up both first rounders.

However, they have a lot of needs. A lot of people seem to think they won't go the elite QB route, but take the Cincy model and draft an elite skill position guy high and then go QB with the second first-rounder.

We want the Rams to take Kalil, basically. Because that means Blackmon will be there for Cleveland at 4. They could take Blackmon and then a Tannehill-Foles-Jones later in the first round.

This is the perfect scenario for us:

    1. Colts - Luck
    2. Rams - Kalil
    3. Redskins trade up - RGIII
    4. Browns - Blackmon

No chance in hell. Bradord makes like $80 billion a year. They are tied to him forever, basically.

Minnesota's defense outside the front line seems pretty damn mediocre. They could definitely trade with us to 6 and get an elite CB + the 3rd or 4th rounder.

What trade value chart are you using? All the ones I'm seeing have the difference between the No. 3 and the No. 6 picks being more like a second and a fourth rounder.

  • Yeah, that's what I meant. The second and fourth rounder.

Also, beck has 1 year left on his deal, any chance he doesn't get cut??

According to most people, tannehill goes after luck and rg3, though Landry jones has that spot for many as well (but slipping)

Nick foles is also in the debate

    terpskinsfan21

  • Until recently, Landry Jones. He has slipped a lot, though. It will change depending on the combine I imagine. Between Jones-Tannehill-Foles I imagine.

    ugotwilcoxed

  • Almost forgot, if a guy like Tyler Wilson from Arkansas leaves as a junior and does well at combine, that's another name you could hear. And I'm sure people will bring up kellen moore's name, though I think he'll be around 5th for QBs

Shows who we play at home and away next season, dates and times still far in the future. Not the worst opponents for making playoffs, including games against the rams, Browns, and Vikings. Also, Atlanta, cinci, panthers, and tampa bay are winnable games if we are actually going to contend next year. Tough games against steelers, ravens, and saints.

So basically afc south, NFC south, plus worst team in NFC west and worst in north.

I'm hoping they do if they can't get RGIII. This is a qb league and we desperately need a qb but I don't want to give up our draft to move up a couple spots. Trade down and pick up a qb like Wilson in the later rounds if RGIII isn't on the board.

  • I'm going to assume for no reason at all that him and RG3 are tight and this move is so Griffin makes it clear to Cleveland he wants to play here.

  • Going to game Sunday with Green Lot parking pass, coming from 66>>395. Is it easier to go Central Ave to Garrett Morgan Blvd or Landover Rd to Brightseat. Will be getting there around 9:30 or so.
