If you're not watching you ain't shit.

This is the weirdest feeling I have had in a while for a Redskins opener.

Usually I'm so amped up/anxious for the first game. Usually we have so many story lines and so many new players that you have no idea what to expect and I usually get super-optimistic inside for no reason at all.

This year, I don't know that we'll be good or that we'll be bad. I'm just looking forward to seeing a team with lots of young players and no old, overpaid bums stealing money and doing nothing on the field.

I think it will be the most likeable team in ages due to all the young, homegrown players and complete lack of drama for once. I think I'd be more excited if Beck was starting. But whatever.

For once, I think I'll be able to watch the Washington Redskins and not feel complete embarrassment at all times. Even though they might actually lose more games than the typical Snyder-era team. At least they're behaving like a real NFL team.

I am excited to see a 3-4 defense run with a legit nose tackle and two legit pass-rushing linebackers. I'm excited to see real running backs, with actual speed who can make plays and score. Not fatass Clinton Portis and Larry Johnson and scrubs like Keiland Williams. Real, legit NFL running backs. Three of them! I'm excited to have depth at wide receiver. I am excited to see if Gano has finally become the kicker he should be. I'm excited to see Brandon Banks scare the bejesus out of special teams coaches. Hell, I'm excited to see a real NFL punter drop balls inside the 20 with hangtimes over 2.5 seconds.

This team may go 3-13, but I will still enjoy that immensely more than any of the 6-7-win teams of recent memory. You can lose without being a laughingstock. I am OK with that for this season.

I expect the Giants to beat us with their B Squad tomorrow, just because they always beat us. But I don't think it will even piss me off that much, unless it's a chokejob with Gano gagging on easy field goals again or something.

Great win today, especially against the Giants. And Davis looked awesome.

Decent crowd today, good weather but sat right in front of the sun with no shade.

1-0 sounds nice.

I wouldn't say good riddance Cooley. I'd love to see the Skins incorporate both into the game plan.

I thought they should have ran more, especially give Helu more than 1 carry.

It sucks that Jenkins is out for the year, however, it looks like we might have a player in Chris Neild.
