point is the games are like a county fair combined with a justin beiber concert...people go to have fun and yell and scream...win or lose its all the same....theres no urgency...theres no fear of losing....cause if they lose we will just get next time....goooooooo team!!!!

I don't disagree that the organization seems to put "entertainment" in front of the product on the ice. All I'm saying is that people like the Horn Guy and Goat are part of the solution, not the problem. They're average fans who happen to be good at getting the crowd pumped up - and to the organization's credit, they make sure those two get seen and heard.

LOL. Yeah, Verizon Center was a real county fair during Game 7 of the Montreal series. No one cared at all that the season was about to end in disaster. Hell, even before the Bruce era, the entire arena - I'm not kidding, the entire arena - chanted "Fire Hanlon" for the final 30 minutes of that dude's last game as coach in Nov. '07. Stick to Philly sports, 5th. It's what you know.

No they absolutely did not. There were loud boos after the Montreal series. They gave them an ovation after the Pittsburgh series the year before.
