CL Football is still a possibility for the Gunners, but it's not a lock like it is for Spurs. That being said, I've watched Arsenal cash in on player since I started following them in 2006, and it's getting old being a feeder team for the spend-happy clubs. It's time to pay RvP, bring in some help, and stop being cheap. I've said it here before, Wenger/The Board need to see players as investments and not expenses.

haha I can take some trash talk. I've got a good friend born and raised in England and he's a HUGE Arsenal supporter. It's actually one of the reasons I started following Spurs, to get under his skin.

And yeah, Arsenal certainly isn't out of it. Chelsea and Liverpool certainly don't seem like they wanna step up and take it.

Careful what you wish for. Last time Wenger bought to appease a star (Vieira) he ended up buying Francis Jeffers. That said, I want Yann M'Vila on the Gunners in the worst way.

Shame for AVB because he has coaching skill and moxy. Most great coaches are neurotics ... so all this crap that's spewed about him is just that. In the end, just too many forces to overcome in order to be successful at Chelsea - both politically and tactically.

With Guus Hiddink and possibly Mourinho (not Moreno) looking for jobs this summer AVB might be in a world of hurt. Its a shame because I think he can coach, but Chelsea is in a screwed up situation. Meddling owner, aging egos, Torres, etc etc...

Why anyone would ever want to coach Chelsea is beyond me. It's like coaching the Dallas cowboys, no matter how good you are, you cant win and you wont last longer than 1 year unless your name is Mourinho

I think Newcastle made a brilliant move getting Cisse. He's exactly what they need. That and not facing Spurs in London again.
