The Man C - Newcastle match was top notch. Despite the score, Ba and Ben Arfa had the best chances of the first 60', IMO. Aguero played like an idiot today. He was still awesome but he played a ball offside when Toure would have been 1v1 with Newcastle's keeper. He also refused to feed Nasri all match. I wonder if there's something going on there?

well nasri is a douche so i wouldn't be surprised. ryan taylor had about the worst 5 mins of football you could ever imagine. gifts a pk and then gifts richards the 2nd goal.

That should have been a red. He put his arms out intentionally and Balotelli's shot probably scores if not for Taylor's outstretched paws.
Regarding Nasri, the biggest douche is the guy who doesn't pick out a player making smart runs. Nasri has been among the weakest Man C attacking players this season but he played smartly today.

Slick passing by pool for that goal. There you guy Kenny, don't play the scrubs like Downing, Henderson, and Carrol and you might actually play good soccer

They have lacked something since sacking "Butch" Wilkins, really. That and their core is getting old. Some of the young cats like Ramires and Sturridge are good, and Mata too of course. But this fancy pants Chelsea is not nearly as formidable as those teams with Essien and Ballack beating up every midfield in England. Not sure the old guard have bought in to what Andresh Villash Boash is selling, either.

how is mata doing this year? i haven't watched chelsea play much. I saw his goal against arsenal but has he done much else?

Mata is much improved but the announcer compared him to David silva today. Not even remotely close.

With that midfield and VDV and Adebayor up front, Spurs have a real shot of maintaining 3rd and getting back to CL.
