Didn't see this posted, but Hammel was talking about knee problems again after the game. Off day on Thursday, so the O's could skip him, if necessary. And another off day on May 31, they could DL Hammel, skip his turn this week, and need 1 start from an Eveland-type during Hammel's DL stint.

Yeah, reading some further comments this morning I think you're right. Although he needs to be more than a 5 inning pitcher sooner rather than later.

O's AL OPS ranks by position:

C - 6th
1B - 9th
2B - 9th
SS - 4th
3B - 7th
LF - 6th
CF - 2nd
RF - 5th
DH - 10th

Those numbers annoy me. We have had shitty production out of dh and 1B for years; should be the easiest positions to field average production. Just takes $.

I'm sure he said that because yelling 'O' desecrates the anthem, and not because it means we're taking over his fucking ballpark
