Why wouldn't you rather have Davis than either one of Reynolds/McLouth? He's cheaper and probably better.
And remember that McLouth will be 31 years old next year, and had 2.5 horrific seasons prior to his great stretch with us. I certainly wouldn't mind him as a 4th outfielder if was can get him cheap (he made $7mm in 2011, then signed a 1-year deal for $1.75mm in 2012), but it shouldn't shock anybody if he regresses either.

Honestly If I had to pick between Reynolds and Davis I'd rather have Davis.

I have no problem bringing back Davis over one of those two. I guess my main point was that we don't need all 3 on this team given the current roster makeup.

That's true. Doesn't Reynolds walk more than anyone else on the team? If not it has to be close.

Yes. His 13.6% BB rate was the highest on the team among hitters with at least 50 at bats. Jim Thome was second (12.2%), Nick Johnson third (10.8%). Avery, Wieters, Pearce, McLouth, Markakis, Ford, Andino and Betemit are the only other Orioles to have a BB% over 8%.

Well, one season's numbers at least. We're more ranking how good a 2012 each guy had than how good a signing we think they'd be.

'G' is the second-oldest of the group, btw. 'C' is 34, and the others are all 28-31. E is the youngest at 28; A and F are 29.
