Who was the moron who said that Tyler Clippard owns the Mets? Among teams who Clippard has thrown 15+ IP vs, he has the worst ERA vs. the Mets. The Mets own Tyler Clippard so Davey is better off resting him today.

You want to guess who had a 1.240 OPS in 2010 after 5 games? If you guessed Ian Desmond, you guessed correctly. If you guessed that he would hit sub .700 OPS for the rest of the season, you also guessed correctly.

No it went all downhill that September when the Mets were in 1st place and Willie Harris cut off all hopes of a Mets playoff appearance (Tom Glavine also helped a lot by laying an egg).
