I want a sweep sooooo bad. It doesn't have to be this series, but it has to be soon. We've been teased way too many times.

Apparently there is some OWG in the HOF named Freddie Lindstrom who played back in the Ruth era and came up at the age of 18.

On base Plus Slugging. Just a measure of general offensive production though its not perfect because it weighs On base as the same as Slugging.

i hate offdays - especially after a loss (even though it was a series win) - but i get to watch a lottttttttt of baseball at the beach this weekend.
friday, 730 pm - stuck in traffic so i only have to listen to the nats get shelled
saturday, 4 pm - strasburg shuts down the braves
sunday, 8pm - gio does his thing on sunday night baseball
monday, 1 pm - wake up early memorial day and watch JZ churn out another quality start.
oh and ps next weekend's home series vs. braves ... that friday night could be Strasburg vs. Braves to open home stand, plus the return of Michael Morse.

hahahaha i just don't see it happening.
last two games here are his lines:
5/14 vs. SD: 5 IP, 7 H, 4 ER, BB, 3 K
5/19 vs. BAL: 5 IP, 9 H, 6 ER, 2 HR, BB, 3 K
that's 10 ER in two starts. not too good.

he's a nats killer so that's good. here's the simple recipe to beating the marlins:
1) watch the bunt for reyes
2) be careful with infante
3) throw hanley heaters over his head (aka rick ankiel zone) or breaking stuff a foot off the plate (aka hunter pence zone)
4) walk stanton
5) plunk morrison
6) retire RT
7) walk marlins catchers who always
8) retire RT
9) retire pitcher
so the starter won't go past 7 innings, but he should limit the damage to 1 or 2 runs.
