NATIONALS vs. Orioles series thread

    The nats have never made the playoffs. The expos never won a ws. The now rangers/senators have never won a ws. The orioles have lost more world series than washington has been in. So enjoy having never been relevant baseball city..... fun fact washington and nyc are the only two cities to lose 2 baseball franchises. Of course nyc still had the yankees then mets when the dodgers left. Can't wait for dc to finally make baseball history and be the first to lose 3 franchises for having such shit fans.

    Way not to know that the Senators won the World Series in 1924. They were also in the Series in 1925 and 1933. So your claim that the Baltimore has lost more World Series than DC has been in is quite false.

    It's no secret that DC has had a rough baseball history. That doesn't stop us from having fun with it, while you guys seem mired in misery.

    LOL, I love when people bring up the fact that a drunk who couldn't get along with local politicians moved his team to an inferior city as if that proves something. Especially when our new team has lapped the local competition. Zit, why don't you leave the trash talk to people who've been following baseball for more than a couple years? Last thing, I don't think most of us hate or care about the Nats. The new baseball fans are kinda funny though. Hell, it's better for the O's finances for the Nats to be good.

    If we're counting previous incarnations of the current teams, the Orioles have technically lost 4 World Series, as the St. Louis Browns (who moved to Baltimore in 1954 to become the Orioles) lost the 1944 World Series to the Cardinals. So counting that way the Orioles actually have lost more World Series than the Washington teams have been in.

    It really is amazing how obsessed they are with the Nats. We're in 2 different leagues and play each other 6 times out of 162 games. At least some stupid Os fan bought my $20 ticket for $60 on Sunday so that I could go for free on Friday/Saturday!
