This seems more announcer/fan based but from a rules perspective (and I know we had a stupid rules thread in the past) calling a timeout in the NBA and having the ball advanced to half court is just fucking retarded, plain and simple. Then again the NBA sucks and is fucking retarded, plain and simple.

A kickoff/punt return near the end of half/game and the returned goes out of bounds, and the guy chimes in with something like "what a heady play to get to the sideline ". For some reason, I distinctly remember that after UVA scored the game-winning touchdown on us with like 20 seconds left in 1999 and then kicked off, Special K wanted us to take a timeout.

That Hopkins is allowed to be DI for the lacrosse teams but can be DIII for everything else. If they want to keep their beloved DI lacrosse status they should have to move everything up. God knows they have the money.
