If you need pitching badly, that's cool I guess. But Heyward's steals and power potential are a big deal to give up.

I just traded Adam LaRoche, Ichiro, and Chris Perez for Adrian Gonzalez.
Thoughts?
12 tm league -- Ichiro and LaRoche were both util/bench guys for me depending on the week, and Perez was one of 4 closers on my roster.
After the deal processes, my lineup will be:
C - Wieters
1B -- Dunn
2B -- Kendrick
SS -- Dee Gordon
3B -- Trumbo (Longoria on DL)
OF -- J. Upton
OF -- Adam Jones
OF -- Nelson Cruz
UTIL -- Adrian Gonzalez
Pretty strong, no?

I could use some SP since Beckett crapped out on me. I have Cain, CJ Wilson, Kyle Lohse, Chad Billingsley, and Gavin Floyd.
I need K's badly.
I also have OF depth with Hamilton and Beltran having ridiculous years and Jordan Schafer being a good source of steals. Ideally I'd be able to trade one of my SS (I have Rollins, Hardy, and Peralta) for a SP but that doesn't seem terribly realistic. Heyward seems to be my most realistic trade chip other than Swisher but he's my only guy with 1B eligibility.

and IF he snaps out of it....he's more likely to be 2011 pujols than 2009 pujols (big difference)

NL only league, I have an offer on table, where I'd be getting Jake Westbrook and I'd have to give up Jed Lowrie. Problem is, Westbrook has cooled off since his hot start, while Lowrie is playing pretty decent. Also my backup is Brandon Crawford. I think I'm declining the deal.

So I desperately need saves and SP now and i was just offered Pujols, Weeks, EJax, and Nathan for Cano and Jimmy Rollins. I HAVE to take that, right? I mean that's a no brainer? Pujols has to get better, Weeks can't get worse, and Rollins isn't hitting either (plus I have Hardy and Peralta to fill the void at SS). Please help ASAP!!! This leaves one massive hole on my team at 2B, but Rollins is on my bench anyway and I upgrade 3 positions pretty hardcore.

Update: I took the trade...too much of a no brainer. Pujols is starting to heat up already and should be better than Cano over the long haul and the boost in WHIP and Saves I get is worth trading Rollins. Weeks is the wildcard since he ends up being my only 2B now. Might try to trade AJ Ellis for a 2B because Weeks is terrible this year. But maybe he's due to heat up??

i'd try and upgrade over weeks, he really sucks this year and i don't think he'll improve much. however, you absolutely smoked him in this trade. solid move
