This was probably my favorite non-MD team of all time. I'm trying to think of other buzzer beaters, but this is the first one I can remember watching live.

NCST 83 Lorenzo Charles put back had my pre-teen self jumping over a table in excitement. It's lost its luster over the years for me as I have grown to hate State.
Danny Manning's 1988 run with Kansas was entirely epic and one of my favorite tournaments ever. "Cinderalla's not a woman, she's a man..ning."

Bryce Drew was the luckiest guys since Ringo Starr. I remember that game well, he had a nearly identical chance to be the hero a few seconds earlier and missed. After Valpo fouled he trudged to the line looking like Adam Morrison in that earlier clip. He got a mulligan only because Old Miss missed 2 FTs, then got a wide open look due to a great play design. And he ended up with a statue. Give me a break.

I remember watching this game from the team hotel in Syracuse. It was one of those hotels where all the rooms faced inward to the main part of the hotel. After it was over, it was spontaneous celebration, people shouting from all the different balconies. It was awesome. The team had finished a meeting a short while later, and came out to see all of the celebrating. I distinctly remember Andre Collins saying something to the effect of "well, we winning this shit now" lol.
