That's what you said last year.
Eat a dick.
IN...one thing I am is active. (if there's space)
another suggestion......would there be a way to make only 2 of 4 free agent pickups be able to be pitchers? this would avoid the "streaming sundays" that have taken place I think.....and I am not picking on any one person....we all do it/have done it....some more than others......again, just a suggestion...nothing more
I don't really care either way if that becomes a rule (not sure if it's possible) but those desperate Sunday streams will hurt as often as they help. I have to try and remind myself of this all season.
Doubt there would be a way to limit the type of player picked up, but there might be a way to limit number of pickups on the last day of the week.
That being said, I don't know if it's necessary. Just having a rotating staff is a valid strategy for fantasy if there are injuries, or if a person's staff is just weak. One rule to consider though would be moving to weekly lineups instead of daily. A lot more strategy that way.
Daily lineup is a must, imo. One of the things that makes fantasy baseball great.
A. fine with that
B. 100000000000% against that. weekly lineups are awful ; there is no point in playing fantasy baseball then.

What is the roster size now (too lazy to look?).
Must have daily line-ups.
The streaming issue doesn't really bother me either way. I'm not sure that yahoo has any options to limit by day or position, though.
limit is 23. I am almost certain when I first was a part of this c4e's league it was 24 or 25......I am trying to check
well, this was interesting research....roster limits last 5 years....not sure why the randomness....maybe its just a yahoo automatic setting maybe? and its not a huge deal, just thought maybe having one extra bench spot was very helpful
24 - 08'
22 - 09'
21 - 10'
22 - 11'
23 - 12
Limiting the FA pickups (if that's even a possibility) to two pitchers is dumb.
Let's not do that.
I also suggest an application system of sorts for the newcomers replacing last year's dead weight. As in, they shouldn't be allowed in on a first come first serve basis, but rather state your case and have everyone (or most people) vote. It is the terptown ELITE league after all amirite?
Who won the B-league last season? That guy should be promoted to this league, and the last place turd should be relegated to the B-league.
omg we should implement a promotion system you guys.
If there needs to be a spot filled at some point, toss my name into the hat. I should have good credentials since I'm in the suque fantasy basketball salary cap league. Thanks.
If you want to hold 4 bad pitchers/players every week so you can pick them up on the last day, you should be able to do that.
so, can we start throwing out some possible dates for this?
it seems sunday evenings seem to work well for most if I recall....just throwing out :
sun 3/31 (I know there is a HUGE opener of Tex/Hou game)
I also recall it taking forever to complete the draft last year so any ideas on how to get it done quicker?
For one thing, the time between bids and nominations was not set as low as it could have been last year, I'm pretty sure. Just fixing those things should solve most of the issues.
Any non-Friday/Saturday night is probably fine with me. Thursday/Sunday nights you are possibly dealing with NCAAT games.
Publicly shame the donk who starts the bidding for elite players at a dollar.
I'd prefer a Monday-Wednesday, just to avoid bumping against the tournament. Maybe something like Tuesday the 26th?
30 for nomination and 10 in between bids are the shortest time frames available.
Yeah, I think we did a minute for nominations and 30 for bids last year, I think.
Once I hear from c4e, I'll get the league opened up, by the way. Just waiting to hear back from him.
Biggest thing would be to get everyone live and get rid of the auto bid process jacking up all the prices.
I would prefer a Sunday night
im sorry i was confusing...your "Superbowl" was the Redskins losing since you know that the Ravens cant win it all.
Sunday works for me as well.
another vote for sunday
