I don't think I realized just how bad NO is going to be this year. They were up 24-6.
CHIEFS FTW! Slatter's league is over!
NYCTerp05: i guarantee you my child won't turn out gay
Lot of people out this week on SF and NO.
Parlay, post your league's breakdown in this thread every week when you get it - I like reading it (and since the league's so big, I think it gives a good consensus of where the picks are in a given week.)
I'm in a tiny (11 people) pool that ended after last week. So everyone threw in another 20 and started over. Pending Philly continuing to crap the bed, we will be down to 2 or 3 after this first week of round 2.
PS I really don't understand people who take road teams, especially early. Crazy shit happens on the road. We had people go out with SF and DET today. They were 2 (23%) and 6 (4.5%) in yahoos overall selections.
I'm pretty pissed to be out so early. My league may be down to just three people depending on how the late games go.
Our 334 person league is down to 66 with 10 left on Pitt and 1 left on GB
Can't remember a year like this. Crazy.
If oakland can pull this off i win 150 in my 15 person work league, a week 3 win would be pretty sweet, lost one to nola today and 4 other have pitt, i had chi.
I am out on NO. Thought there was no way they would fall to 0-3. At home. Against the F'ing Chiefs. Up 24-6 in the 3rd. I had considered Dallas and SF and probably would have gone SF first so I would have been out either way.
There's a whole six of us left in the boards league set up on yahoo.

lol, i won my survivor pool. About 20 or so people in it.
My survivor is down to 600 from 3900. Still have one entry left.
holy shit lol

+1. Look forward to it every week.
A lot of people are going to be in on Baltimore this week (understandable), but I really like Atlanta at home against Carolina. That Panthers team sucks, Newton or not, and Atlanta plays well at home. That game will be at least a 10 point win for Atlanta.
I got way too cute going with Indy yesterday, wtf was I thinking.
I absolutely would not take Baltimore this week.
Arizona hosting Miami looks pretty tempting. But I'm not sure if I'm ready to put my life in Kevin Kolb's hands.

we are restarting a work league. i am leaning very strong to ATL. Bmore is a scary pick, i see 55% of people have them. I heard this is there 4th game in 18 days. That is nuts, even though they are home they have got to be pretty bruised. outside of ATL i dont really like anything.
Definite letdown spot. They are the largest favorite on the board though.
GB might be out for revenge home to NO next week
i'd be very, very careful with baltimore this week. emotional, hard fought win then turn around 4 days later and play a divisional opponent. i'm also out of my pool so it's probably smart not to listen to me.
im sorry i was confusing...your "Superbowl" was the Redskins losing since you know that the Ravens cant win it all.
Someone talk me out of the Cardinals
You're buying high. Most teams are due for a fall when they get as far out over their skis as they are. They are still the Cardinals after all.
Also, Kolb is the quarterback.
You could also say it's the Raven's 4th game in 30 days. That too would be accurate.
The Browns will have played 4 games in 19 days... and oh, btw they are terrible.
