Goddamn Eagles. Guess there won't be any major bloodbaths this week.
eamhokie94: Is your name Nazi in pig Latin?
The upside is I dont have to root for those shitbird Eagles again. Vick tried his best to give that away.
>10% down. Solid week. If Stl and Cle had hung on it would have been 50%.
I picked the iggles. I figured, get them out if the way while Vick still has a rib intact nd I should be good. I didn't think it'd be that tight, but I'm glad I picked them because they are going to be terrible this year.
In our 57 player league, 9 people went down.
Next week looks brutal.
Either New England or Cincy next week.
Somehow missed them.
Almost 16%, wish I was in that league.
Looks like only 1 out of 41 went down in the IMS league.
I don't see anyone out of slatter's league (3 pending, all BAL).
In my other league, 2 out of 30 down, 1 pending (DEN).
Lots of dumb picks. A few people went with GB, NO, and NYG.
This week, I'm really liking Oakland. Miami is absolute trash.
Pats are a no brainer next week.
Yea yea yea, but I'd rather save Houston or new England. I'm not confident in cincy. Dallas might be an ok pick too
NYG will be good as a bounce back pick this week.
I dont believe in saving teams, gotta win this week, worry about future weeks if you make it there. Cant trust Oak on the road let alone a cross country 1pm kickoff
Biggest favorites for next week:
NE by 13.5
Cinc by 9.5
NYG by 7.5
I don't like Cinc just because of the division rivalry thing. The Patriots have so many good picks this year that I want to save them for a tougher week. The Giants took me down last year but I think i'm gonna be a sucker again. Their schedule just doesn't have a lot of games where they will be a touchdown favorite. I have two different pools though so i'll probably split a NE pick and a NYG pick.

This is very true. I didn't consider the kick time, which will definitely be a factor.
This is my first survival league, so thanks for the tips. I'll check out the cincy game tomorrow and see how their D looks. Chances are I'll probably go with NE though to be safe.
"And I try to har-mo-nize with songs the lonesome sparrow sings...
There are no kings inside the Gates of Eden."
If you didn't pick the Texans you probably should stop spending money on football gambling related things.
Thats stupid. The texans play in a garbage division and have tons of cake games this year. The Eagles were a good pick because they don't really have any other games that you would consider locks outside of maybe one.
I'm not in one of these leagues, but you'll have two chances to pick the Ravens against the Browns, so I would definitely do that once. I worry that Brandon Weeden might die on the field against Suggs, Ngata, et. al.
Oops, didn't realize people that got out are listed on a different tab. 2 out of 34 out of slatter's league so far.
RGODIII took out a few people in the Keegs/Varian pool.
one was my fiancee who picked ... BUFFALO
Don't you recognize the classic Hogie jinx?!
