It's a 'He Can Dish It, But He Can't Take It' situation with Czabe. I didn't hear the segment you are referring to, but Loverro always challenges Czabe on his opinions that he presents as facts, maybe it's the writer in him. I recall that John Feinstein and Mike Wise would challenge Czabe on a lot of the stuff he says too. I don't think Andy cares enough to get into a back and forth with Czabe, plus Andy doesn't seem like an argumentative type.
billdc, I wish I would've seen what you wrote about Frank Caliendo appearing on the Sports Fix, I would've listened. Did he do his Charles Barkley, Stephen A.Smith and John Madden impressions!!
"Andy doesnt seem like the argumentative type" ???
We must be listening to different shows.... Polley is a whiny, little arguer half the time.
He's definitely a whiner. He very rarely actually puts together coherent arguments though. He cops out quite often with "we'll have to see how it plays out" and other garbage radio cliches.
Or he's just completely dismissive of Czabe "OK, think that way if you want to."
Listening to Vinny Cerrato on a semi-regular basis has made me feel sorry for Skins fans.
Meh, its over. It was awful, but we all endured.
Being run by professional football men, and having the 2nd coming at QB helps us forget.
Thought this bump was going to be about the Atlanta morning show that made fun of Steve Gleason.
Today he actually referred to Flacco making his RT receivers better players this season, the way Peyton Manning does in Indianaqpolis.
Dan Dakich bashes and threatens an IU student for calling him a member of the media.
Thom Loverro said yesterday that A-Rod didn't have much to do with the Yankees winning their 2008 WS. Terrible on so many levels from a guy who is suppose to know baseball.
Last night as I was driving to the Nats game, he and Andy were having a discussion about "Is Eric Spolestra a better coach than ......" and the ran down the list of every coach who's ever won a title. They said they though Al Attles was a better coach, I can't remember the 1 or 2 coaches they thought Spolestra was better than. It was hilarious.
Not to pile on Loverro but I think guys open themselves with this "I'm a baseball guy" I'm the authority but he just said Tyler Moore and Paul Goldschmidt were the same players in the minors and that is why Moore will start hitting:
Bill Rohland is actually covering local sports today on 106.7 instead of the typical garbage people talk about! It's actually amazing. He's gone pretty in-depth about NHL free agency, much more beyond typical "OMG The Caps didn't sign anyone!!!" He just talked about the Wes Brown story and even mentioned today's Nats lineup as soon as it hit twitter.
That all sounds so simple/easy but nobody actually does it.
And on the flip side of that, this Mark Gray guy is the absolute worst guy who has ever been on the radio anywhere.
vinny and rob is a great show. vinny is fucking hilarious
There's a show on during the weekends, I think Sat evenings on 106.7, that features a really knowledgeable guy. He sounds black. He talks about the Terps a lot. Anyone know what I'm talking about?
is this a trick question?

Wow. This is NOT roomy!
@2013 Terp I tried looking him up on youtube and found one video. It could be him. His voice sounds a little different though.
Mark Gray is on now and couldn't suck more. In other news, sounds like Rocky Parrish got axed yesterday. Can't say I'll miss him.
The complete guide to Washington DC and Baltimore radio and TV stations
There's just no way anyone enjoys listening to Mark Gray.
well he seems to know his MD sports.
So Lavar got hired by the NFL Network.
Is he done with radio here now?
How the hell could anyone hire him after hearing his work on the radio? How is that even possible?
