u/v if you are a gooner
Champ - Arsenal
Top 4 - Arsenal, Citeh, Chelski, ManU
Relegated - Reading, Norwich, West Ham
FA Cup - Chelsea
Carling Cup - everton
Worst signing of the offseason - Joe Allen
Best signing off the offseason - its a loan deal, but de Guzman will be the new Sigurdsson
POY - Kompany
YPOY - cleverley
I definitely think the Gunner fans on the board are much more active
If RVP stays and Arsenal can stay virtually injury free at the back then I actually think they can take it this year
I've convinced myself Arsenal is winning the league this year.
I'll go with:
Winner - City
UCL spots (in order) - United/Arsenal/Chelsea
Europa - Spurs
Relegated - Wigan/Stoke/Reading
FA Cup - Arsenal
League Cup - Liverpool
Worst signing - Allen
Best signing - Hazard
POY - David Silva
YPOY - need to do some research.
You sir, have made it.
All I'm saying is that soccer could make for an interesting paper topic.

Chelsea fan here, I just dont post a ton in these threads. Mainly chose Chelsea in the late 90's when there was not as many matches televised, so decided to pick one of the bigger teams and my roommate who was from London is a huge ManU fan. He hated Chelsea among others so it was an easy choice to just be an asshole and have some rivalry with him and it stuck.

He's from London and love ManU? That is the worst case of a bandwagon fan I have ever heard of. Thats like being born and raised in Boston, but loving the Yankees.

I chose Liverpool because I was living in a town called Liverpool at the time and Everton v. Liverpool was the first match of that season. I knew nothing about them being one of the most successful teams in history back in the 60-80s.
Sadly, there is a shitload of Liverpool and ManU fans in London.
Yeah I always gave him shit about that. In his semi-defense his family moved to the states when he was like 5 or 6 and they were from Trinidad originally. Never got a straight answer why he chose them specifically other than they were "always his club".
People like to talk about how hard core European soccer fans are, but they've got plenty of bandwagoners just like sports here. If you're in Rome, you'll find Roma and Lazio kits/scarves, along with the Milans and Juventus (and Barcelona, RM, etc).
I want to u/v everything you say just because of your picture
Since I can't u/v my own picture, I'll u/v you instead.
Yes but that's just in Della Contea de Principe Georgio
I'll post this here since our non-EPL thread never seems to gain any traction.
Ibra with a second half brace today to draw with Lorient at home today. Hard to believe leagues are starting already. The Euros and Olympics have definitely accelerated this offseason!
You forgot to put...
AFCON (second year in a row FTL) is going to put a damper on that.
Something tells me these teams don't like each other much
Mikel playing like ass. He's given up 4-5 possessions already. This team still has a lot of holes
Am I just talking to myself here?
