This is encouraging.
London Fletcher’s streak might go on after all. The Redskins linebacker was a full participant in practice Friday, and has a chance to extend his run of 231 consecutive games played. Fletcher said, via the Associated Press.

How many are still around after the bye week?
2.. I think Haslett stays until week 14 or so (gotta get him out so we can start openly interviewing other fired coaches)
Hall, I'd have to see the cap rules. Not even sure we can cut him without facing penalties because his entire bonus amount for the future would probably have to go in to this year's salary #, (which is low from Mara's punishment of our sins!)
I think it's kind of unrespectful- Ovie
danny smith has just about checked out already.
"Bottom line: The Redskins have allowed 2,514 passing yards in eight games, the second most ever in the NFL. What coach survives that?"
After 2 1/2 seasons, it's no longer about learning a new defense or losing key players. It's all about poor coaching.
"Changing kickers hasn't helped. Something's still wrong, and Smith hasn't solved the blocking troubles".
While I agree with the article this line is just stupid. That kick never got more than 3 feet off the ground. and went square into the line of bodies.
As bad as the Ginger Defense is, I don't think firing him midseason will help any. Though it's just one game, clearly the Eagles still looked lost w/ their new D coordinator yesterday
firing him sooner rather than later is not about this season.
Damn, MadMax posts on Extremeskins now
"Im not a WR expert, I'm not going to sit up here and pretend to be. I do coach WR's at the high school level and have attended several clinics put on by area college coaches on how to best coach wide receivers. The one thing that stood out to me was something Ralph Friedgen said. You work on finishing catches by making sure the pre catch aspects of being a WR are second nature. When I look at Hankerson, he effortlessly stems defensive backs. There is very little drift to his routes. He moves in and out of breaks very well for his size and there have been plays this season where his ability to get deep have given the skins opportunities to stretch the lid of the linebacker/safety zone. He sets up his double moves well and also uses his body surprisingly well to create space. The drops look bad right now, judging RG3's deep ball has been a work in progress but I simply am trying to get people to see.... he isnt that far away. He just turned 24, and is coming off a season ending injury. He will continue to have drops, he will continue to frustrate you but the "pre catch" ability is there and stellar. Give him time, let him grow. When things slow down mentally for him he is going to be a force. Just hope its here and no where else."
Hankerson has potential, I would keep him, he may still be gun shy from injury.
an issue with Skins secondary is having 5'9' corners going against 6'4" wideouts.
I wish our
I wish our secondary was Sean Taylor, Champ Bailey, Carlos Rogers and the Steeler we let go.
Please do not forget our injuries. I think team is heading in right direction, main need is secondary.
New Defensive Coordinator

Was Ryan Clady franchised?
Can he be had, I'm sure if you paid him it wouldn't matter if he was LT or RT
Cliff Avril, and put Kerrigan and Orakpo on a 4-3, use the like the Giants do with multiple DEs rushing.
I think they can franchise him if they want to. They did a kicker last year, I believe.
Someone check that, though. I need Clady/Silverback in my life.
"And I try to har-mo-nize with songs the lonesome sparrow sings...
There are no kings inside the Gates of Eden."
JJ Watt > Kerrigan, Hankerson, Gomes, Paul
Whose Dcor can we steal?
Wallace, Bowe, Garcon
Do it Snyder
Who is the 36th best player in college right now. I want to start looking at youtube videos.
Da'Rick Rogers... Assuming Tyler bray comes out of course... If not, he's 35
I was feeling that way. Today was so damn frustrating. I'm glad to have expectations instead of apathy. However, I have little faith we will ever be good while Dan Snyder is breathing.
Who's a legit 3-4 coordinator we could get? Rex Ryan after he gets fired?
Romeo had a good D in NE.
And we need to stay 3-4 because???
Orakpo and kerrigan would be fine 4-3 DE (maybe even better), so its not because our 2 best defensive players would lose value
Not to mention, we don't have a lot of ILB depth, so it would mean only needing 1 good player there vs. needing 2 good ones. Don't care whether we stay or change, but I'm open to it based on the lack of current players that NEED to stay in the 3-4 (may be a 1 person list- Carriker)
we need to go back to 4-3. we don't even have the personnel for 3-4. Orakpo and Kerrigan would be good in 4-3 and not having to fall back in pass coverage.
Draft two of Ace Sanders, Stedman Bailey, and Nuke Hopkins
Ace Sanders? What am I missing here?
